What do the words on this site mean?
Gether uses a small set of words for spending against what you hold. Each is defined here in one paragraph, in the sense the site uses it.

What is spending power?
Spending power is what your locked collateral counts for after each asset's haircut, less what you have already drawn. It is derived from current prices, so it moves.
What is a haircut?
A haircut is the share of an asset's value held back as a cushion before it counts. A haircut is a fee to no one.
What is collateral?
Collateral is what you deposit and lock to stand behind what you draw. It is valued now, and it can be sold to cover what has been drawn when the cushion is gone.
Nothing is sold to fund a charge.
What is a drawn balance?
A drawn balance is what has been spent against your collateral and has to be repaid. It rises with each approved charge and falls as you repay.
What is the required level?
The required level is how much locked collateral has to stand behind the drawn balance. A charge that would take collateral below it is declined.
What is a stablecoin?
A stablecoin is a token issued to hold one fixed value, here one US dollar, with the issuer holding reserves against it. Today the rail backs USDC.
What is a tokenized stock?
A tokenized stock is a token that tracks a listed share, issued by a third party. You hold the token, and the issuer holds the share.
Keep what you own. Spend anyway.
